Whats with the Art Deco design of the site?
There are a couple reasons why I decided to give the site an Art Deco makeover. The first is simply that I happen to be a big fan of art deco architecture and design. The Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, Rockefeller Center: these structures capture the essence of a very appealing age – one of hope and optimism. They celebrate the greatness of mankind, while still being pragmatic and often revolutionary solutions to building design and construction. The second reason I went with the Art Deco design is that back when Art Deco was in its heyday, things were built to last. It was quite a change from today’s throwaway culture. I appreciate the pride that was put into the work, and I enjoy taking pride in the work that we do here at PTSS. I’d like to think that we build solutions that will provide value to our customers now and for many years to come.
