Whats with the 4 different effect INSERT modes?

0

Many of the Roland effects are stereo effects. Therefore, when inserting an effect, you have some choices. INSERT means that the incoming signal is processed by the entire effect. INSERTL means that the incoming signal is processed by the left-channel of the stereo effect. INSERTR means that the incoming signal is processed by the right-channel of the stereo effect. INSERTS means the incoming signal is processed by the left-channel of the stereo effect, and then it’s also processed by the right-channel of the stereo effect. So, when using a stereo effect as an insert effect, you can actually use the effect across 2 seperate tracks by using INSERTL and INSERTR.
