Whats with some other DJ companies claims of doing 1000 weddings per year?
Our Answer: Experience is good, but quality always beats quantity any day of the week. Would you rather have the disc jockey behind door #1 with at least ten years of experience and hundreds of wedding receptions and company parties performed, or the disc jockey behind door #2 with hundreds of “events” performed in only a year or two? That first DJ is usually in his late 20’s or early 30’s and his musical experience has been broadened to appreciate many decades of music. That second DJ is usually in his late teens or early 20’s and is still on a steep learning curve. But he’s probably keeping busy doing a lot of high school parties or club gigs so his musical taste will rarely go further back than the mid 1990’s. DJ Companies that will hire almost any warm body to do parties, need quantity to offset the problems and refunds for bad shows that inexperience always brings.
