Whats with all the questions on here about astronomy and physics directed towards atheists?
They’re under the mistaken impression that atheists have “replaced” belief in god with “belief” in science. Nothing could be further from the truth. All it takes to be an atheist is lack of belief in god…nothing else. Many atheists see no need to “replace” the mythical stories in the bible with something else, they’re perfectly content to simply conclude there’s no god and leave it at that. I think they get confused simply because the vast majority of real scientists also happen to be atheists…so they think all atheists are scientists. And since they’re used to making unwarranted assumptions without evidence, they just make another one. Oh, well. Peace. p.s. it just so happens that *this* atheist is trained in science, has a couple of BS degrees (computer science and electrical engineering) and an MS in mathematics…and is an avid amateur astronomer and astrophotographer. So I do know quite a bit about math, physics, and astronomy.
