Whats web design anyway?
Web designers create websites. Here’s what’s involved: • Organizing content • Creating the page layout • Establishing site navigation • Writing and/or editing text • Editing pictures and/or creating graphics • Determining and balancing the needs of the site’s audiences • Addressing usability • Recognizing accessibility requirements Web designers take content such as text and pictures and figure out how to organize that material into web pages. A designer will consider the layout of pages and how to best display information. Some may write or edit written material provided by the client so that it’s more appropriate to the medium of the web. A good design must take into account the audience(s) of the site, how to make it easy to use, and how to make it accessible to people with different abilities.
