Whats up with the prequels? How many will there be and when will they be written?
In addition to New Spring: The Novel, Robert Jordan plans to write two more prequels. The first will tell the story of Tam al’Thor finding baby Rand and returning to the Two Rivers. The second will tell the story of how Moiraine and Lan arrived at the Two Rivers just in the nick of time. He recently announced that he plans to finish the main sequence, Knife of Dreams and Book 12, before he returns to writing the last two prequels.
