Whats up with child harnesses?
We had one for our son when we took him to the zoo. I am so glad we did because in really crowded areas where there are a lot of people it gives your child a chance to have a little freedom without worring about them running away from you or someone taking them when your attention is on something else for two seconds. Our son LOVED his. The key to is to let your child help pick it out and to make sure he or she cannot take it on their own. I have seen some lately that are like back-packs and the children can slip them on and off themselves…sort of defeats the purpose. There are some back-pack style ones that have room in the back for a sippy cup and a snack bowl which comes in handy if your child is potty trained and you do not have to carry diapers any more. You can put their cup and snack in the back and not have to worry about carrying around a large diaper bag. The only cons I see are from the people who do not like them….ignore the ugly looks and snide comments you may here. I
