There have been several people who were voted off for the sole reason of making sexist comments (Usually this was because they couldn’t think of anything else and this was the only way to unite them) or had votes cast against them for being sexist. Rudy of Borneo and Clay of Thailand were notable sexists who had votes cast against them and were disliked because of the sexism. • I think it’s less that the writers wanted to boot him off for lacking a character and more that they intentionally made him (and numerous others) rather flat so they could continue eliminating one person a week without always interrupting a plot. Shows up, doesn’t do much of note, gets a quick flaw that will get enough campers annoyed with him to make his elimination plausible, then gets axed so our revelations about Courtney don’t go to waste (from a plot perspective). • I second that; it was only part of the show’s formula to get rid of campers.
