Nothing at all. You can do the same rebate program. What you cant do is provide an invoice that does not reflect the rebate. In some jurisdictions, eyecare providers must reflect any discounts on their invoices that they provide their patient/client. Not to do so would be fraudulent. In this rebate program, it is EyeDeal Eyewear that has provided the rebate directly to the consumer. You have no way of knowing whether in fact they actually cash the rebate cheque. It is really none of your business. It is then incumbent upon the recipient to appropriately declare the rebate funds.
