Whats to be said about perseverance?
This is one of my favorite quotes by Lee Iacocca: “You’ve got to say, ‘I think that if I keep working at this and want it badly enough, I can have it.’ It’s called perseverance.” It makes me think back to my college days, and what I remember most clearly about myself, is how easily I was distracted by all the challenges out in the world. My curiosity was stimulating, but I lacked the maturity that comes with experience and wisdom. Thus I was not persevering in much. But now that I am older and ahh, so much wiser, I have pulled dormant talents and skills out from my college days, dusted them off and put them back to work for me again. It wasn’t easy, and I was discouraged at times but I remained focused, motivated and determined to succeed. So be encouraged and look deep inside yourself for hidden talents and resources that you may have overlooked; add a measure of perseverance to them and vola! Your new inventory may make you unstoppable!
