Huatulco is relatively isolated, however there are various interesting places to visit outside the immediate area. There are coffee plantations in the mountains, the town of Santa Maria Huatulco is not too far from here and La Bocana is also worth a visit. You could also visit Puerto Angel, the Mexican Turtle Center, the Ventanilla Lagoon, Zipolite Beach or even Puerto Escondido, but they’re a bit further away..
