Whats the worst thing about the Australian music scene going forward, what would you like to change?

Something that really comes to mind is that it’s a struggle for bands with the culture of seeing bands live isn’t around as much as it used to be, you go to places like London and gigs are just full – just because there’s a gig on. There’s not just that culture in Melbourne anymore, and it’s a trend more with the overage scene. For instance, Fowler’s Live in Adelaide was packed on a Saturday Night, because they de-licensed it and made it an All Ages venue. It’s usually an overages venue. I just can’t see why more places in Melbourne can’t do that, more often, to get the kids into them. Do you like playing the little intimate venues across town, or do you see it as just part of your journey to get to the big stages? No, we love to do those intimate shows at Missing Link and Fist 2 Face; I think those gigs are awesome. This next time will make it two or three times that we’ve played at Fist 2 Face, where we just do acoustic songs. It’s intimate fun, you play a song and it gets talked to
