What’s the worst thing about being in Ultraxine?
Well one of us lives in London, and the other two live in Leeds…so you work it out! It means we can’t rehearse as much as we’d like and it makes gigging at anything other than a weekend difficult – which isn’t always easy when you’re a new band and no-one knows who you are – as promoters only seem to want to offer you 11.30 on a Wednesday night in a barn playing to a haystack! But because we can’t rehearse often it also means when we do rehearse (every other week as a minumum) then the rehearsals are usually long (8 hours if we’re on form) and so we get LOADS done anyway! So that extra geographical obstacle might actually make us more motivated.
