Whats the world like for homeless children?
Homeless children around the world struggle to stay alive each day. These children often face preventable diseases like pneumonia, diarrhea, malaria and AIDS. In many cases, homeless children are orphans. UNAIDS estimates that more than 15 million children have lost one or both parents to the AIDS epidemic. Millions of these children have been left homeless and abandoned. How does Compassion offer hope to homeless children? Compassion works to rescue orphans, homeless children and others who are among the world’s most vulnerable populations.
