Actually, in China, there is no definite stipulation on the working time of our guides. Generally speaking, the guide’s daily work begin since he / she meet you in the hotel in the morning and end until you finished planned tour for the day and he / she take you back to your hotel. If the program only occupied a half day, you will be on your own the rest of the day.
