Whats the whole movie in a movie thing?
Throughout this movie they focus on another movie, that seems to parallel this one quite a bit. They refer to this Cary Grant movie over and over, and even sit and watch that movie in this movie. Basically the parallelism comes in when Ryan watches that chick flick and decides to steal their idea of meeting at the top of the Empire State Building for Valentines Day. From that point on they are very liberal in mentioning the source movie. I think using that movie in this movie was a great way to steal their whole idea of meeting in such a romantic place on such a romantic night. If they had not included such popular actors this movie would have been a major loss at the box office. Recommendation With the faults and all, this movie is still a classic in the chick flick genre. Anytime you want a good cry, or just want to see a romantic movie pick this one up at your local Blockbuster.
