The weather is cold and snowy in January and February, but as it’s often snowing, the air temperature is not bitterly cold, usually a very comfortable -2 to -5: perfect for keeping the powder light! March still brings regular snowfall, but also more blue skies and sunshine. In April warmer spring temperatures come to the town but the mountains remain deeply covered in white.
