Whats the Water Conservation Order that Ive heard about?
A. Water consumption in St. Johns and the Region rises during the summer months due to the increased use of water for outdoor activities. This extra demand on our fresh water resources sometimes results in the introduction of a ban on outside water use during the summer months. The purpose of the Water Conservation Order is to encourage residents to use water wisely and to try and prevent this from happening in the summer season.
