Whats the vision for Kung Foo?
Devin: It’s a classic hero’s journey, with lots of spoofing and engaging humor. The idea is to lead players through the MMORPG, using their knowledge of classic play structure or introducing them to it if they don’t already have an existing familiarity. Jaime: What convinced you to be part of the writing team for Kung Foo? Devin: I was happy to do it! It is a very charming game, I love MMORPGs and this provides a different angle of writing. Unlike Batman or another licensed character, the player character in an MMORPG is an unknown quantity, as it is up to players to decide what to do in the game. We just provide an engaging realm to let the player blossom in as a hero. Jaime: How does writing comics compare to writing for an MMO? Devin: There are some very big differences and similarities.
