What’s the update in Mazes world?
Stuff. Just trying to make our way in the world, carving out a niche etc. What are the secret origins of Mazes? Jay, Claire and I are from the UK. Jarin’s from different parts of the US… California mostly I think. He has a sarcastic streak to prove it… like Daria or something. Why the name Mazes? I suppose it suggests complexity, which couldn’t be further from the truth. We named ourselves and then got lumped in with a load of bands with similar names… Nodzz, Wavves… we spell ours correctly though, making googling ourselves problematic. Maybe we should add an extra Z? You’ve been everyone’s favourite opening band from Times New Viking, Wavves, Deerhunter, any good road stories building up and if so tell us one! All of those bands have been very polite and well behaved. Our personal road stories involve arguing about where to eat and maybe some pent up resentment at me being a brat.
