Whats the UCLA antidote for spring fever?
By Robin Heffler Come to campus for three of the most festive events of the year. UCLA offers more culture, arts, sports, and events than most cities. And every spring, the university hosts three major events — campus traditions that Bruin parents and families are welcome to attend: Spring Sing, the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, and the Jazz Reggae Festival. LA Times Festival of Books (April 25 and 26): A Celebration of Literature and Literacy First on the schedule is The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books at UCLA, the nation’s largest public literary festival. This year, the Festival of Books will be held April 25 and 26, in the outdoor plazas, auditoriums, and classrooms in the center of campus. Created in 1996, the Festival was created to promote literacy and unite those who create books with the people who love to read them.
