Whats the Turtle Box for?
The Turtle Box is freely available on request via the Options tab in any Turtle HUD. Turtle Boxes are useful for the following – • To allow you to take turtles into your inventory, and rez them out straight away (live turtles without a box will need to wait 120 minutes within your inventory). • To therefore move your turtles from one place to another without any wait. • To display a turtle (for give away or sales purposes). • To save prims – live turtles take up 8 prims, whilst the turtle boxes can be just one prim. Note : Live turtles in turtle boxes will still die from starvation if kept in a box for too long. Exactly like live turtles in inventory, you have five days for a turtle in a box. After the sixth day, they will die. At five days, if you then release them they will need to eat immediately. If you choose the ‘Display’ option for putting a turtle into a box, a temporary model of the turtle will rez. You can click this model to see the turtle’s information in a Turtle HUD. This
