The Trinity is God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Ghost (or Holy Spirit). This is another area where various denominations and sects of Christianity differ. The Trinity, to most denominations, represents the three aspects of the one God. You will read about God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost in the Bible, but they are never referred to as the Trinity. The term “Trinity” was something conceptualized later (after the Bible was written) to collectively refer to God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost.
