Whats the tradition for a babyshower in Australia?

0

There is no specific tradition for baby showers in Australia really. Most of the time other people organise it but it is not out of the ordinary to do it yourself or even hire someone. For my close friends baby shower we had a baby shower and half blessing way, it was very very nice and beautiful but also fun as well. You COULD register to some places but if the people who you are inviting don’t have big budgets then i wouldn’t bother. It is most likely you will end up with a heap of clothes unless you otherwise tell them but two good things are nappies (preferably not newborn as they grow so quickly) and gift vouchers for grocery stores so you can buy baby things when/if things get tight.
