The ‘@’ symbol represents ‘at’, and points to the mail server. Connecting both the local and server information. ‘Webfaq.co.uk’ indicates the domain name and mail server. The SMTP protocol will handle the task of matching the domain name to the mail server, it does this by using DNS data.
