Whats the story behind the first Champion?
Mei-Lin the Ghost was a warrior woman from China. She was brought between the worlds during a rare and destructive windstorm now called Mei-Lins tempest to become the defender of Queen Arera, the Fang of the Great Beast. Her arrival created the first three-fold power (goddess, princess, champion) which became the model for future Champion summoning. The legends say she was ghost-white (thus the name) and fought like a demoness. In fact, since her arrival to Gray World, Mei-Lin has become both the subject of popular legend (The Journey Of Mei-Lin and Warrior Priestess Rahn) and a name often given to girl children born under the star of Sigmr Chk.
