The Sony produced Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon was cancelled in the wake of the Disney/ Marvel merger. The next animated Spider-man series will be an adaptation of Ultimate Spider-Man. The creative team includes Paul Dini, Brian Michael Bendis, Joe Casey, Stephen T. Seagal and Duncan Rouleau. Jeph Loeb is the guy in charge. The series will also feature significant appearances by other Marvel superheroes.
