What’s the status of the UI Museum of Art (MA)?
Thanks to quick work by staff, volunteers, and outside experts, 80 percent of the museum’s 13,000-piece collection—or 99 percent of the collection’s value—was removed from the building before the flood. Nearly everything left in the building escaped damage. While the museum facility remains closed indefinitely, museum staff continue to arrange exhibits and events in other locations.
