What’s the status of Mayflower Residence Hall?
Mayflower is open, and resident rooms were largely unaffected by the flood. The building’s first floor is being completely refurbished, and crews spent much of the summer cleaning and repairing Mayflower’s heating and cooling systems. The building has passed hundreds of air quality tests, and its systems are as clean as new. While some Mayflower facilities—including its computer and fitness centers—are not immediately available this fall, water, communications, elevators, safety equipment, and other services are fully functional.
