Whats the Spider-Man voice-over work like?
It’s really fun. Sometimes it’s like doing a radio play or something with all the cast members in the studio. Growing up, I did a lot of acting. I was on a television show once called Cupid. I haven’t done as much acting as I’d like, because the parts I’m offered — I think it’s true for all musicians — they are always to play, like, a schizophrenic street musician singing some Bob Dylan song in a hospital or something. I’d much prefer playing a doctor or a lawyer or even a mother, something closer to me. (9) Some male critics dismiss you as simply a “cute” girl who can’t possibly be a serious artiste.
