Whats the significance of Nickelback (the band)s continuous sexual references?
Everything that follows is pure opinion: The members of Nickelback are not what I would call genuine artists. I don’t believe their music is in any way inspired and therefore holds no artistic validity in my mind. I think they are pandering to what they see as their target audience. They are trying to present themselves in a certain way, whatever that way may be. I think singing about “partying” and being rich and living the archetypal “rock star” lifestyle has gotten them radio play and money in the past, and so they are just continuing to do that. I’m not making any accusations, but I’m just saying that I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that they don’t right their own songs. They very well may and probably do, I’m just saying I wouldn’t be surprised.
