As temperature increases, a magnet in the iron weakens and reduces thermal contact with the heating element, providing a magnetic thermostat action. I can’t be of much use in the specific conditions you give, but since “boiling” (presumably 100 C) is the highest temperature you mention, many ferrous magnetic materials will be unaffected by it. However, neodymium-boron-iron based magnets have Curie temperatures that are quite low, so strength changes can be observed at the lower temperatures (see the last two refs.).
