There’s no one secret. There are however, niche skills that come into demand. Currently, in the D.C. area, Oracle database administrators, LINUX System administrators, Windows System administrators with TS/SCI clearances are in high demand. As a program manager, one of my challenges is finding and retaining these highly skilled individuals. possessing a security clearance is a good ‘foot in the door’ at Raytheon.
