I was hired maybe because I graduated my BS degree from one of the excellent school in Agriculture, The Visayas State College of Agriculture, ViSCA (now Visayas State University), Baybay City, Leyte, Philippines. Also, I have a substantial experience in Plant Tissue Culture which they really need in the Department. I was hired by the Philippine Root Crop and Training Center as Science Research Assistant for almost 10 Years. The nature of my work is on the post harvest of sweet potato and tissue culture on Yam. During the time I applied at the Department of Agriculture, they really need an experienced plant tissue culturist who will work on banana tissue culture and that is now my project in the department….
