Whats the second reason for implementing a points program?
Since the beginning of the Crimson Tradition Fund (now incorporated into the Crimson Tide Foundation), a mechanism has been needed to reward those who have made donations to the Crimson Tide Foundation, over and above any donations to TIDE PRIDE. Under the current program, one could donate a sizeable gift to the Athletics Department’s ongoing capital campaign, yet not be able to order any road game tickets because the TIDE PRIDE club in which he or she is a member does not have the priority to order road game tickets. Allowing Crimson Tide Foundation donations to earn points will enhance a donor’s ability to order and receive road game tickets and post-season tickets.
