What’s the “rural” rotation?

0

This is a rotation typically done in the second year of residency. Each resident spends one month in a rural family medicine office. There are a number of offices to choose from in Indiana, or you may spend the rotation out of state. Funding from a grant allows us to provide the physician preceptor a $1,000 stipend and $1,000 to the resident for travel and/or lodging.
