Whats the reason that homosexuals aren allowed in the military?

0

There is a requirement that homosexuals not openly exhibit their sexuality (Don’t Tell), and others may not ask someone about their sexuality (Don’t Ask). There are many many gay, lesbian, bisexual, and probably even transgendered people in the military. And for the record, having them fighting for our country is not placing them in rape situations, as some ignorant people believe. People who make comments that gays in the military equates to temptation for rape are clearly ignorant, likely uneducated, probably gay themselves, and sadly will pass on their nescient thinking to their children – thus perpetuating a history of hatred and fear against others.
