Whats the rarest blood type in Europe?

0

Generally speaking, AB Rh(Neg) is the rarest of the major blood group types. There are extremely rare blood types like the Bombay blood group (these people cannot recieve A,B,AB or group O blood) and Rh Null blood group (these people cannot recieve Rh (Pos) or Rh(Neg) blood. Incidents of various blood groups are different around the world. Evolutionarily speaking everyone started out as O Rh(Neg) during the stone age. Group A appeared around 20000 years ago, then group B thousands of years later and group AB only started appearing around 1000 years ago. Group B has a higher incidence amongst asian populations. Group A has a higher incidence in western and central Europe. Don’t worry B (Rh) Pos is not rare and you don’t need to worry about finding blood should you need a transfusion.
