Whats the purpose of the presentation, if my faculty panelists have already read my e-Portfolio?
Good communication skills, including those associated with oral presentation, are core to the positions our graduates hold; thus ,the Portfolio presentation allows faculty to verify your competence in these areas. But beyond “prepping” you for the future, the presentation offers you a chance to “explain” yourself in your own words. The Portfolio is indeed the story of you—your unique experiences, accomplishments, perceptions, and more. While reading the story is great, hearing you tell it is even more compelling.
