Whats the procedure for Media accreditation?
News crews, photographers and other media wishing to cover the New Year’s Eve fireworks display and to be accredited for press pens, should send their request to communitydesk@london.gov.uk by midday on Friday 12 December. Broadcasters with OB requirements, or wishing to bring a vehicle, need to send request to communitydesk@london.gov.uk as soon as possible. Recognised press cards will be required. Press passes for accredited media will be available to collect from City Hall, The Queen’s Walk, SE1 2AA, on Tuesday 30 December between 10.00 and 14.00. Broadcast media and photographers wishing to attend a recce in advance of the event are advised to confirm as soon as possible, as this is likely to take place week beginning Monday 15 December.
