Whats the point of the scene of the two girls talking about the cursed video?
The point of the scene is that the two girls realize that they both had the same dream – they saw Sadako being offed by Ikuma and thrown to the well, in the exact same place where Cabin B-4 lies nowadays. Those members of the Hisho Acting Troupe, who don’t like Sadako, also have the same dream, only that it happened 30 years before the two girls had the dream, so in times when Sadako was still alive, so Sadako actually predicted her own death. As for why she didn’t stop her own death before it happened – well, most probably, she knew she was going to be able to take revenge over the whole humanity 30 years later, so she just decided to let the events happen.
