Whats the point of recycling?
Recycling is energy efficient but rather than be just another voice trying to get that through to you because if you wanted that to be your answer it’s obvious and easy enough to research I will tell you how you can do your part since you have problems with the whole transportation issue as wasteful. Do you buy local or instead do you eat fruit grown in a foreign country when your local farmers market has the exact same thing that didn’t have to get shipped around the world. Are you a mass consumer I’m not talking about buying things you need but rather about buying things that you see on sale it’s a good deal, or an impulse purchase and less than a week later it’s destined for a landfill as soon as you get around to putting it there. If you don’t do either of these I can understand you with your approach questioning recycling (which again you are mistaken on) if you buy your apples from California and live on the east coast or don’t even know where you buy products from than you are i
