People of different denominations rarely see religion in terms of “the whole one true god thing”. They see things in terms of worshipping the right god (their god) in the right way (their way), and everyone else, who does not do so, is wrong and will go to hell.

Yes, they are man made based on different beliefs and doctrines and not excepting all of Gods word, creating division.
