Whats the Party or Grand Opening Turtle ?
To celebrate the grand and official opening of Petable Turtles on Friday 4th September, the Petable team threw a launch party. At the party (held at the Petable store), party-goers were offered a special glowing jade coloured egg as a gift. This egg remained available at the store for a further day, for international people to pick up. The special party egg produces a jade coloured turtle with 60% glow and shining particles. On clicking an original party turtle you will receive this message – ” I partied hard at the grand opening, september 4th, 2009!” Sometimes referred to as the Party turtle, Petable tend to nowadays refer to this turtle as the ‘Grand Opening’ turtle. Although the special glow and particles are not passed on by breeding from it, the Jade turtle does appear to pass on some interesting colours for it’s progeny. The eggs themselves now fetch a slight premium on the turtle markets, and the Turtles produced are now breeding. You will sometimes see advertisements at market
