About 20 percent of India SMBs indicate that using hosted software applications to supplement internal IT resources will be a key strategic focus area for them in the next 12 months. Though there is a growing awareness among SMBs in the country about the threats to their data, deployment of relevant solutions to counter this threat has not matched up. However security in IT infrastructure is high priority for SMBs, due to limited budgets the spending is also limited. Analysts believe that SMBs realize the importance of cost-savings in difficult economic conditions and are therefore, ready to reap as much efficiency gain as possible through judicious investment in IT infrastructure. 3.
