The element is a generic way to embed any kind of object in an HTML document. It is described in section 13.3 of the HTML 4.0 spefication. It’s also included in the OEB publication structure, and is the recommended way to include media other than text. XHub cannot currently handle the data referenced by an , but it will keep the element information in the document.
