A club winning the Unibond Premier League ( also known as the Northern Premier League) would be promoted into the Conference North which, together with the Conference South, is the level directly below the national Conference. The Unibond (Northern) League, The British Gas (Southern) League, and The Ryman (Isthmian) League (which is mainly clubs in and around London) are all on the same level, and the winners of each go up into either the Conference North or Conference South.
