Whats the new Executive structure?
The Vice-Chancellor’s Executive Group, as of September 2010, will be: • Two Deputy Vice-Chancellors (line-managed by the Vice-Chancellor): • Deputy Vice-Chancellor – Academic Development, Research and Knowledge Exchange (Professor Paul Gough) • Deputy Vice-Chancellor – Resources, Planning, and Infrastructure (John Rushforth) • Assistant Vice-Chancellor Commercial Projects, Corporation Secretary, and Director of Finance (William Marshall – line-managed by the Vice-Chancellor) • Four Pro Vice-Chancellors/Executive Deans (operationally line-managed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Development, Research and Knowledge Exchange, with strategic accountability lines to the Vice-Chancellor). • Creative Arts, Humanities and Education (Alexander Gilkison – designate) • Business and Law (Dr Jane Harrington) • Environment and Technology (Professor Paul Olomolaiye) • Health and Life Sciences (Professor Helen Langton – designate) Each of the PVC Executive Deans will take strategic leadership of
