The other gas that is normally over looked but is also deadly because it excludes oxygen is carbon dioxide. It is also the result of burning natural gas or propane. It is not poisonous but rather suffocates by excluding oxygen. Any enclosed space where a open flame is burning can use up the oxygen and leave carbon dioxide behind. It is unusual for carbond dioxide to cause death because carbon monoxide is typically also present and it works faster.
