What’s the MSc in Tourism, Development and Policy all about?
There are plenty of tourism programmes offered across the UK in business schools, but with our background as applied geographers we put the environment at the centre of how we understand tourism. That’s our USP if you like. It means that our programme is appealing for geographers, social scientists wanting to learn more about the management of tourism, while those with a business studies background find they learn a lot about how the environment is used, packaged and managed for tourism. Tourism is after all the world’s largest industry.
